Air Force Coach Discussion on KHOW

This was written in response to the Airforce Coach sounding off about those fast running african americans and how the PC Nazi's came out in strength. Dan Caplis and Craig Silverman on 630KHOW handled this subject very well. I think both suffer from city-fi-cation though as you can see from my response to their show: Enjoy, smile:

You might want to consider taking a refreshingly long vacation and take the family to a working farm (horse, cattle, dairy) and do a little living the life of nature and breeding.

Maybe both you and Dan could come away with a little more understanding of breeding and how humans have breeds too. We call it race. Whoever you think is appropriate to thank, do so, because God or nature has given us a wonderful variety of breeds that not only shows diversification of culture, but of genetics.

Maybe after this lovely vacation with family and you see life as a more as a cycle (plenty of dead animals if you live on a farm long enough) and not the ultimate anything, you'll grow closer to understanding that there are differences in breeds, all breeds. Differences make us rich. Some will be better at some things because of breeding. That is not to say there won't be exceptions, but breeding goes a long way in giving one breed and upper hand out of the womb than others in certain things. Then in other things this other breed is good. This doesn't show bigotry. I think it shows a broader understanding of nature than a city boy might have.

Go to a farm Craig. Investigate on the web about human breeding in the South during our slavery period.

Do you really think our differences are only skin deep? This is contradicted in all of nature. Is one breed of dog easier to train at hunting, fetching than another. How about dog races, ever seen a collie in a race with a greyhound or an Arabian horse race a Quarterhorse? Does Christianity or Judaism preclude accepting that man is part of nature too? Entirely part of nature with regard to his physical characteristics?

It seems denial of these differences is much the same as being politically incorrect in the 1200-1500's and saying the earth is round. Heretic! In today's terms, Bigot! :-)

I'm sure that you and Dan with your minds geared to argue and rationalize will disagree, however the only way for you to have a chance to more clearly understand is to live on a farm for about 4-6 weeks.

Nature is shown in it's cycles and splendors more in this surrounding than in Chicago or Denver metro areas.

Maybe we shouldn't glorify ourselves so much with discussing race, maybe we should begin to use the word breed and humble ourselves before the almighty a bit more. Whether the almighty be Jehovah, Christ, Allah or Mohommed or Buddha or Mother Nature.

Fine tune it if you wish, just a little more humbleness toward what we don't know instead of declarations and "drawing lines" of what we can think and not think......... :-)
